Vera & Adam’s wedding was the end of season’s perfect gift for me! They had chosen everything with undeniable good taste, planning a relaxed wedding day to enjoy the company of friends and family, and most of all, to have a great time.
After a religious orthodox ceremony at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, they held the reception in one of the most photogenic venues I have seen in a long time: Alder Manor, an old mansion dating from the early twentieth-century, located in Yonkers, just north of NYC, with it’s main attraction being that the owners have kept it almost untouched to this day. A very particular atmosphere has been preserved there; large, abandoned, majestic rooms and flaking walls. In fact, it is often used for tv and movie shoots, as with many fashion photo sessions.
Each corner of the house, garden included, seemed to be such a perfect background. We were also very lucky to have a gorgeous sunny day, with that unique autumn light.
Finally, Vera and Adam turned their wedding dance into one of the biggest and craziest parties I have ever been to, whether for work or fun!
