Organic DIY Slow wedding in Galicia: Leticia & Franco

When you have someone like Indara from El Sofa Amarillo in charge of the designing your wedding, you can just sit and relax, knowing that everything will be just stunning.

But Leticia and Franco are that kind of sweet, special couple who wouldn’t settle for just a pretty wedding. They wanted a more personal touch, a wedding that represents who they are, pouring their souls into every little detail. While they had to coordinate all of the wedding preparations from overseas, since they live in the other side of the Atlantic, they still managed to plan the wedding they had always dreamed of. They stayed up late for nights prior to the wedding, getting every detail ready. They painted and printed, by themselves, all of the table seating cards with beatiful acquarel landscapes. They also hand-painted all of the little flowerpots which they will deliver later as a wedding favor. And they even had time for an engagement session the day before!! :)

And the best part: they made their wedding a party for everyone! They had their closest friends and families involved to help with the decorations by sending some of the guests to pick up the flowers they used for the table settings, some other guests were in charge of making some of the dessert, etc. They got everyone involved and made them all a part of it!

The part of the wedding Indara was in charge of was just amazing. She is such a creative professional, making every event look different while truly respecting the personality of the couple she’s working with at the time.

This time was no exception, she captured the sense of nature of the bride and created an organic, earthy atmosphere for her wedding. Natural leaves, wild flowers, fruits and vegetables.

Galicia is such a special place. It has a mystical and magical feeling. When you are there surrounded by woods and green landscapes, smelling the Earth like never before, you truly understand the unique personality of its inhabitants. Now I can’t wait for my next trip to Galicia this year :)
